We're willing to bet they even pulled a load or two of triple-run moonshine on occasion. And did you know that a mule-drawn wagon could travel six times farther in a day than a wagon pulled by a horse or ox — talk about a physical feat that kicks ass! (pun completely intentional btw, cause you know — mules are half donkey, half horse ... anyway ...)
